New Wine Leadership Conference 2012
Reactivating the missional church
28-30 May 2012

For anyone involved in leadership in their local church

BOOK NOW!

‘If you want to travel fast; travel alone – but if you want to go a long way; travel together.’
Bishop Jackson Ole Sapit (Kericho Diocese, Kenya)

We're inviting you to come and talk, dream, pray and plan together, so that we can effectively become local churches changing nations!

There has been increasing emphasis on growing healthy churches, whatever their size, where a church’s health is measured by the quality of discipleship rather than its Sunday attendance. The mobilisation of every believer to be a faith-sharing disciple of Jesus wherever they live and work has created a momentum for new missional communities, fresh expressions of church, and church planting all around the country.

Who’s the conference for?

Church leaders, key church staff members, small group leaders, elders, emerging leaders, ministry team leaders – anyone involved in leadership in their local church.

PROGRAMME

The conference starts at 14.00 on 28 May and finishes at 16.00 on 30 May.

We will start each day with worship and Bible teaching to refresh our minds, hearts and spirits. There will be a selection of seminars on the essential ‘how-tos’ of leading churches through change, starting new initiatives, and reaching our communities with the gospel. Plus we’ll have plenty of opportunities for prayer for empowering, equipping, healing and refreshing in the Spirit, and for networking with other church leaders.

Commendations for Alan Hirsch

‘Alan is a key thinker of our generation. He has a knack of identifying the key issues that stop the church going forward and of describing the call and fundamental gifts of God to his people. As we have sought to build an effective culture of mission and discipleship in Sheffield, we have found ourselves coming back to his teaching again and again. If you are wrestling with how to be missional as a church in the 21st century, don’t miss the opportunity to hear Alan’s message – it has the potential to change the way you think.’ Paul Maconochie, Senior Team Leader, St Thomas’ Church, Philadelphia, the King’s Centre and City:Base, Sheffield.

‘A profound theologian and an experienced local church practitioner, Alan Hirsch is one of the most inspirational, and at the same time practical, contemporary missional thinkers. His unpacking of the relationship between discipleship and mission in the New Testament is simultaneously exciting, compelling and enabling. It has shaped me profoundly as a leader and is dynamically affecting the life and outlook of the church which I lead. This is a message which will warm the heart and fire the passion of every leader, and is vital for each and every one of us at this moment in the life and mission of the church in our nation. Don’t miss out!’ Ian Parkinson, Vicar, All Saints’ Marple, and Regional Director, New Wine North & East

‘Alan Hirsch is a prophet to the western church. He is faithful to scripture, open to the Spirit, passionate about mission, committed to the Church and understanding of the culture. I believe his teaching is hugely significant to all who want to effectively win this world for Christ.’ Mike Pilavachi, Associate Director, Soul Survivor.
