‘Greater things have yet to come, greater things have still to be done in this city’
God of this City by Chris Tomlin
Hosted by Stuart Gregg from Buttershaw Baptist in Bradford, and Andy Jolley from Aston Parish Church in Birmingham.
Working in an Urban Priority Area (UPA) means living and proclaiming the Kingdom in a tough environment, and being committed to ministry for the long-haul. Yet God’s plan for our cities is greater than we can ever imagine, and spending time with others who understand both the pain and the joy of leading a UPA church can inspire us to push on beyond where we’ve reached before. Whether you’ve just moved into a UPA or have been working there for years, join us as we encourage, challenge and release one another to serve God in the cities he has called us to. Hosted and led by experienced leaders in UPA ministry, this two-day forum will feature inspiring yet down-to-earth talks, practical seminars and powerful times of worship and ministry (including opportunities to receive personal prophetic prayer). And of course there will be invaluable time to meet with like-minded people who know and understand your situation.
What did last year’s delegates say about the forum?
‘Best conference I have been to in a long time. A great mixture of learning and ministry.’ Chris Hill, Northolt
‘A chance to be in a culture and language of understanding the pain of UPA ministry and not feeling judged.’ Mike Coates, Liverpool
‘Main sessions were down-to-earth, where we're at, but inspiring too.’ Alan & Chris Cartwright, Rugby
'Honest and open atmosphere reflected in all conversations.’ Duncan McAuley, Stockton Parish Church
