Student work intern

WE ARE LOOKING FOR a female student work intern to work with the student worker and alongside students in outreach and discipleship ........................DO YOU WANT to introduce students to Jesus and disciple them in their faith? Do you want to do this at the UK's 5th largest university? Do you want to help 18-25s reconnect with church and with Jesus? Do you want to grow in ministry and leadership? Do you want to take risks? Do you want to be stretched and challenged by studying practical theology? Do you want to do all of this within a growing, supportive community? ........................ YOU WILL BE • A committed Christian seeking to grow in spiritual maturity. • Passionate to help students / young adults meet with God and strengthen their faith. • Capable of taking supported responsibility for leadership of people and ministry areas. ........................WE CAN OFFER • A full time internship position from 1st Sept 2012 to 30th June 2013 • A weekly allowance of £40 plus all expenses covered. • Accommodation and meals with a church family. • Weekly Practical Theology Training accredited by NOCN to Level 3. • Generous annual leave plus bank holidays. ........................YOUR MINISTRY FOCUS • Working with students at the University of the West of England (all 30,000 of them!) and with local 18-25 year olds, as well as helping run the Alpha Course • Other ministries as appropriate
