14-21 July 2007
Last year CLAN Gathering moved from a school campus onto Strathtyrum estate, we moved into bigger tents and experienced the hottest summer on record. This year turned out to be the wettest on record: in places, on the wettest days, we were ankle deep in water! Thus, we have moved from a place of learning, stretched out our pegs to the right and left, we have not been lukewarm, and we are ankle deep in the river of God (Eze 37:3-4). I am not saying this is a prophetic statement but roll on knee deep!
Growth points included breaking the 5,000 delegates mark. We had well over 500 churches represented and over 400 for the leaders’ day. There were also lots of healings and some miracles.
Here a few comments from delegates:
‘Despite the weather conditions my family and I had a wonderful time at CLAN this year. My daughter is only four, but she was so excited about Nippers and has been teaching us the songs she was singing in the Rainbow tent.’
‘The only problem with CLAN is that we miss it so much for ages afterwards. We can’t wait until next year.’
‘For us it was inspiring, challenging and uplifting. Our two children who were part of the youth activities were enthralled, changed and delighted with what they were able to participate in.’
