Students & Young Adults Pastor

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and faith-filled Young Adults Pastor to lead, oversee and develop our ministry for 18–30 (including students) at Life Church Bath. This role is focused on discipling students and young adults, building authentic community, raising and leading volunteer teams, reaching into the Universities and providing pastoral care, all in alignment with the wider vision and values of the church. 

You will work closely with the staff team, volunteers, and external partners to help young adults grow in their relationship with Jesus and play an active role in the life and mission of the church. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and develop the Young Adults Ministry (18–30s, including students) in line with the vision of Life Church Bath 
• Plan and facilitate a regular midweek programme that encourages discipleship, community and spiritual growth 
• Build, lead and support a volunteer team, including recruitment, training and ongoing pastoral care 
• Provide pastoral support and discipleship opportunities for young adults and students 
• Work closely with other ministry areas to ensure smooth transition from Youth to Young Adults 
• Develop strong relationships with local universities, chaplaincies and student leaders 
• Ensure effective communication and promotion of the ministry within the church and wider city 
• Ensure safeguarding policies and best practice are followed at all times
