New Wine Training Centre - Winchester

The New Wine Training Centre in Winchester is based at Christ Church Winchester – an Anglican church of nearly 1000, located at the heart of the beautiful, historic, Cathedral city.

Teaching (8hrs/wk)
All teaching will take place on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, with holidays coinciding with Hampshire school term dates.

Internships (12hrs/wk)
Internships are available at:

Christ Church Winchester: University Students, Download (Youth 14-18s), Pathfinders (Youth 11-14s), Children’s, Worship & Media.
Winchester Vineyard Church: This will be a general placement with the opportunity to experience a number of different areas of church life including children, youth, outreach, media and worship.
St Barnabas Weeke: A general placement within a traditional Anglican church which is making new connections within the local community. A great opportunity to experience a range of areas of ministry including children’s and youth work in the community.
Parish of Chandler’s Ford – St Boniface and St Martin In The Wood: We are a large and busy Anglican parish. An exciting opportunity to experience a growing and changing parish with diverse worship from traditional communion services to church@four: a pioneering new congregation. You will have opportunities to support and develop a wide range of ministries including children and youth work, worship, technical and sound teams, school’s work.

Cost
£980 course fees, payable at the beginning of the course.

Accommodation
Interns find their own accommodation locally in Winchester or in the vicinity of their internship church. Some internship churches may offer accommodation in family homes. Students are encouraged to take casual employment to cover their living expenses.
