He was educated in South Africa and at Cambridge University. He is Church Warden of Holy Trinity Brompton and a Trustee of the NMCF and Fundraising Patron of Great Ormond Street Hospital. He has written God at Work, a practical every day guide with purpose for the workplace. He is the Gresham Professor of Commerce, a regular media commentator and speaker at international conferences. Following the Occupy movement camp outside St Paul’s Cathedral, he was appointed by the Bishop of London to be a mediator with Occupy. He is married to Fiona, and they have four children.
