In hundreds of small towns and villages across the country, despite falling clergy numbers, the burden of ancient buildings, small congregations and limited resources, as well as the innate conservatism of the countryside, God is at work. In looking at some of the stories, the good examples and the underlying principles of what ordinary people are doing, we’ll see that Father God can grow the Kingdom wherever his children are willing to take a risk of trying something. He is the God of our villages, not just the city!
