A day in the life...
WHAT IS YOUR 'HOPE 08'?
• A personal life that is healthy and fulfilled, always reflecting the grace and glory of God?
• A family life in which children, parents and grandparents love, honour, respect and serve each other?
• A church life in which every member fully and consistently plays their part in worshipping, witnessing, and working under the lordship of Jesus?
• A community that is permeated by the presence of God, in which everyone’s needs are met?
"Some hope!", you might say, but this is what God’s true kingdom looks like – this is heaven!
Join us at our summer conferences to pray and work with us towards God’s kingdom coming to earth, just as Jesus taught us.
A TYPICAL DAY
| 7.15am | RISE |
| 9.15-10.30am | Refine |
| 11.15am-12.30pm | Morning seminars |
| 2.30pm | Early afternoon seminars |
| 4pm | Late afternoon seminars |
| 7pm | Refresh |
Our programme starts each morning at 7.15am
with RISE, our early morning worship and teaching slot.
The 9.15am Refine sessions are your opportunity for morning worship and in-depth Bible teaching.
The day continues with a wide selection of seminars to choose from - or you can relax in one of the many cafés.
Refresh begins at 7pm and is a wonderful opportunity to worship, hear a variety of great speakers and receive ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit.
VENUE 2 (Shepton Mallet only)
Running parallel to the morning and evening sessions in Venue One, Venue 2 aims to deliver some inspirational speakers and passionate worship led by some
of the best up-and-coming worship leaders. It has a younger feel than Venue One, but it doesn't matter what age you are - if you're young at heart you're more than welcome.
DAY OFF
There is a day off each week (Tuesday for the London and South East and North and East conferences; Wednesday for the Central and South West conference). There will be no seminars on this day, and no children’s groups until the evening. Many delegates choose to leave the site to explore the local area; others organise social events and activities within their camping village.
RELAX AND ENJOY...
You can enjoy a whole host of enticing offerings on site, with a wide range of social forums, café bars and evening entertainment to create a real community
atmosphere. Cycling, rollerblading and skateboarding are all allowed on site. There are also plenty of sporting activities going on throughout the day, and some of the hottest Christian artists and bands, performing well after the sun has set over the campsite.
THE MARKETPLACE
Filled with resources, workshops, craft and multimedia action,
The Marketplace is the place to head for to quench your thirst,
