Stewarding Team
Your day could involve anything from directing traffic, to setting up venues, to patrolling the site.
No one day will be the same. It's one of the most hands-on roles with a lot of interaction with team and delegates. Smiling is essential! The stewarding team ensures the smooth running of the event. You'll uphold onsite safety and security regulations and direct delegates around the site. Applicants are required to work as part of a team, under the direction of the chief steward, liaising closely with the control office and within health and safety and fire regulations. The role involves patrolling the whole site and taking action in line with the showground’s and New Wine's regulations. Stewards work in all the venues maintaining security and helping delegates.
