Greater Manchester is a place of creativity, innovation, and deep spiritual hunger — and God is moving in powerful ways across this region. The New Wine Discipleship Year Hub in Manchester is based at Saint Philips Chapel Street, a growing city-centre church in one of the UK’s most dynamic and diverse areas. Our Hub connects with a wider network of churches across Greater Manchester and beyond — and we are looking forward to inviting you to join in with what God is doing here.
Teaching (1 day/week)
Teaching takes place on Mondays and includes theological input as well as joining in with the Saint Philips staff team meeting.
Placement (4 days/week)
We believe this combination of real-life ministry, intentional supervision, and a supportive team creates the ideal environment for discipleship. Areas of involvement typically include Youth & Schools, Children’s Ministry, Students & Young Adults, Worship, Media & Tech, Outreach & Evangelism, Compassion ministries, and Hospitality. Your involvement will be agreed with your Placement Supervisor and shaped around your gifts, interests, and the needs of the church.
There is also the opportunity for placements in other churches across Manchester and the region.
Cost
