After the last 2 year's sucessful conferences, we are thrilled to be running Inspire again in 2018! This is an exciting New Wine camping event, organised by Churches in Yorkshire and the North East. It has a family feel, both for those who are young and those who are young at heart. It's the family of God gathering together, learning, sharing, having fun and worshipping Jesus. You won't find everything at Inspire that you might find at the larger New Wine National Gatherings, but at it's heart will be the worship, teaching and ministry in the power of the Spirit. You'll get the New Wine values expressed in a smaller, more intimate setting

Buy a ticket for Inspire and you get to camp in this beautiful part of north Yorkshire, at Hollybush Farm. There's space for well over 1000 people this year, so why not come and camp with people from your church or village or town? Otherwise you can travel in each day. There's a great programme not just for adults but for children and youth too.

This year will again see a café, marketplace, coffee bike and farm shop onsite with extended opening hours and more options available.

The event starts at 7pm on the Friday, with main meetings in the Thirsty and Hungry venues. Specific programme details will be available nearer to the start of the event - BSL Interpreters will be available in both adult venues for the duration of the conference.

    Inspire will be held at Hollybush Christian Fellowship located between Thirsk and Northallerton in North Yorkshire. It is easy to get to from both the A1 and the A19.


    Paul Harcourt

    Paul is New Wine's National Leader. He is married to Becky and is vicar of All Saints Woodford Wells.

    Rev Matthew Porter

    Leader of St Michael le Belfrey in York.

    Kate Wharton

    Kate is an Assistant National Leader for New Wine. She is Vicar of St. Bart’s Church in Roby, Liverpool.

    Ben Doolan

    Ben is a curate at the Belfrey in York where he oversees the evening gathering, student work and 18-30s. Ben is also overseeing INVEST.

    Linda Maslen

    Linda is New Wine's Regional Director for the North East and Yorkshire. She's also curate at St Mark's Siddal and leads Saturday Gathering.

    Ruth Perrin

    Ruth is based in Durham where she's one of the associate staff at King’s Church Durham and a trainer in Christian leadership. Click for more info

    Rev Eve Ridgeway

    Curate at Hull Minster and New Wine Network Group Leader for Hull & East Yorkshire.

    Nadine Parkinson

    Nadine heads up New Wine’s Women's Ministry and is Church Relationship Manager for Tearfund.

    Rev Mark Powley

    Mark Powley is Principal of St Hild College, a pioneering theological institution for Yorkshire and the surrounding regions

    Bishop Mark Tanner

    became the Suffragan Bishop of Berwick in 2016. He served as Area Dean of Ripon & as New Wine’s Regional Director for NE & Yorkshire.
