New Wine Urban Forum in the North

New Wine Urban Forum in the North

Wednesday, October 11, 2017 - 10:00am to Thursday, October 12, 2017 - 4:00pm

The Gathering Place, 1, St. James' Road, Halifax, HX1 1YS

Description

Working in urban areas in the inner cities and outer estates means living and proclaiming the Kingdom in tough environments, working among many people for whom life, education, employment and family has not quite worked as planned. In these areas, ministry means being committed to the long haul. God’s heart is for these areas and those who live there, that they too may enjoy his shalom.

This year’s Northern Urban Forum is an opportunity to spend time with others who understand both the joy and pain of leading an urban church, and to be inspired to push on further and deeper with God’s plans. Whether you’ve just moved into an urban ministry or have been working there for years, join us as we encourage, challenge and release one another to serve God in the cities he has called us to.

Led by experienced leaders in urban ministry, this two-day forum will feature inspiring yet down-to-earth talks, practical seminars with powerful times of worship and a chance to receive personal prophetic ministry. There will also be invaluable time to meet with like-minded people who know and understand your situation.
