For the One - Worship Training Day

For the One - Worship Training Day

Saturday, May 5, 2018 - 9:30am to 8:30pm

Holy Trinity Church, Leicester

‘We worship to glorify God and call the kingdom of Heaven down to Earth; it’s the training ground for the every day. We come with expectancy and honesty, not to lose ourselves or simply 'just' find pleasure, but to be sharpened for mission.’

Chris Sayburn, Head of New Wine Worship.

New Wine Worship (NWW) seeks to serve, encourage and commission the local church by building local worship communities with shared vision (local churches changing nations) and values (the glory, presence and kingdom of God, the mission of the Church and the character of the believer).

For the One is a training day designed to gather local worship teams and offer input, training and ministry time. If you are part of a worship team, a church leader wanting to equip your worship teams, or an aspiring worship team member, New Wine Worship wants to invest in you.

Receive input from church leaders who have cultivated cultures of worship, engage in practical sessions on the theology of worship as well as the practical.

Seminars include:

  • Neil Bennets on the theology of worship
  • Dan Bowater on technology in worship
  • Integrity Music on writing, discovering and using songs for the local church
  • New Wine worship team on leading songs, using technology clicks, arrangements with smaller teams, dynamics and how to rehearse well.

Build relationships: Learn alongside your worship and tech teams. Take something back to your churches that you can implement together.

Network with other local worship teams. Build relationships with those who are on a similar path and will be able to support your ministry of worship.

Space for worship and ministry: Take the opportunity to find space for worship and ministry that you’re not responsible for! We will give plenty of time to worship and offer prayer ministry.

Live Album Recording

The evening session will include a celebration and the chance to learn three new songs to take back to your churches as they are recorded for the New Wine Worship album.

Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring your own lunch.

(Please note that the programme is a draft and is subject to change).
