Youth Worker | Werrington Parish Church

Werrington Parish Church is a charismatic, evangelical Anglican church. We seek someone to build on the success of our existing youth ministry, working with the church leadership and other youth workers to integrate youth fully into the life of the church; develop the youth work for the 11-18+ age range; provide pastoral support for this age group; Liaise with other Christian youth work in Peterborough; be innovative in carrying out duties but ensuring that ideas are in pursuance of the core values of the Parish. Applicants require a formal qualification or equivalent in youth ministry; experience in working with young people of this age range; willingness to work flexible and unsocial hours; good interpersonal skills.

Werrington Parish Church
We are a two-church Parish in the north of Peterborough. We have an active and lively children's and youth work program running both on Sundays and during the week. The Parish Staff Team currently consists of three members. The Vicar of the Parish is the Rev. George Rogers and he is supported by the Assistant Curate, Rev. Sue Fear. The Youth Worker is also a full member of the team. We have two Parish Office staff.
