Vicar of All Saints Ilkley | Diocese of Leeds
Is the Lord calling you to serve and lead ‘this dynamic and vibrant church’ in ministry and mission?
Are you open to the Spirit wanting you to work with the people of All Saints in the opportunities and challenges in the historic, flourishing and expanding town of Ilkley? The Bishop of Bradford looks for All Saints, with its evangelical tradition and links to New Wine, to be a “resourcing church” to the wider area. Exciting times! Does God want you here?
The role requires
a) Providing strategic leadership, identifying God’s vision for mission and ministry in Ilkley, growing each of the different congregations of the church and taking hold of new mission opportunities;
b) Working with the able and effective staff team to develop stronger pathways to take lay discipleship and lay leadership to the next level;
c) Developing All Saints further, in partnership with colleagues, as a “resourcing church” (one that has the potential to help revitalise other churches), contributing to growth in the deanery, the Episcopal Area and Diocese;
d) Developing relationships in the town in creative ways.
