Children's Minister | Eastleigh Parish Church

We're looking for someone who is passionate about helping children to become disciples of Jesus Christ (and not just willing participants in church activities).

The job will involve overseeing and running a superb programme of events and groups for children as a part of Eastleigh Parish Church (, but the main focus of this role will be on supporting parents and carers as they disciple their own children at home. You'll need to be able to build up good relationships with these adults, as well as being a superb leader of children's groups/activities.

In recent years, we've been blessed to see this parish church grow from 55ish to 155ish people; including lots of children. We have a committed team of volunteers, and what we believe God is asking us to do is to appoint a worker who can grow our children's ministry both in numbers and in depth of discipleship.

We have a culture of being willing to try all sorts of new ideas, and children are very much seen as members of 'today's church'. We involve them whenever we can in all kinds of things. We also think that children are tomorrow's leaders. Can you help us develop a new generation of disciples who will be ready to hold on to the Gospel and present it to their children in years to come?

If you are someone who already has a strong faith in Christ, and is able to help children know him too, please get in touch!

Eastleigh Parish Church
Eastleigh Parish Church (EPC) is part of the Anglican Church. We're part of the Diocese of Winchester, in the Church of England. Things that we love at EPC include; the Bible (all of it!); seeing people come to faith in Jesus; watching the Holy Spirit work in and through people; trying new things; having fun; eating together; encouraging people; and great times of worship. We have 3 Sunday congregations. 2 of them are very traditional, whilst the other one is very (very) informal. We have seen God bring new people to all 3 congregations in recent years.
