Vicar | St Martins Camberley

St Martin’s is based in Old Dean, a large housing estate on the outskirts of the town of Camberley. It may be a mainly disadvantaged area, but the Church is considered by those who worship and visit there to be rich in many ways. We acknowledge we are a Church for imperfect people, but we are a congregation who are open and honest with each other and accepting of all.

We seek a servant leader who:
Recognises that prayer is the foundation of the life of the church,
Will encourage each member of their congregation to grow deeper in their life of faith,
Has a love of scripture and relating it to everyday life,
Is an enthusiastic communicator who can engage with a wide range of people,
Is open to the Holy Spirit and to God’s plan for St Martin’s,
Is flexible and can adapt to challenging needs and circumstances, and
Has a pastoral heart.
