Operations Director | St Saviour's PCC

The Director of Operations is responsible for leading all aspects of church operations to support the mission and ministry of St Saviour’s, a large, lively and friendly evangelical charismatic church in central Guildford. Our vision is to ‘love God, love people and make a difference’ and to be a ‘big family’ where everyone is known, valued and loved. We have vibrant worship, a passion to engage with those in our community and flourishing ministries for children and young people (including those with additional needs) and students.

Role outline
This role provides strategic leadership and management of the operations function as part of the Church’s senior team. Leading a team of staff with expertise in buildings, ICT, communications, finance and events management, the postholder will play a pivotal role in delivering the Church’s vision to make a difference to the life of our town.

About you
With a strategic understanding of the role effective operations support plays in delivering organizational vision, you’ll have wide ranging operational management experience ideally gained in a church or not for profit environment. You’ll be experienced in managing a team and empowering and enabling others – staff and congregation – in developing projects and missional initiatives. Approachable, clear thinking and with strong people skills, you’ll thrive on making things happen and weaving together the life of our church community.
