Youth & Digital Pastor | St John's Blackpool

St John’s is a growing, vibrant Evangelical Church of England parish church in the centre of Blackpool. We are in the midst of delivering an exciting 3-year mission and growth strategy.
We are seeking a creative, prayerful and passionate person to lead and develop our growing ministry to young people and young adults and help implement our strategic plan. We are looking for someone with a heart and passion for reaching and discipling young people from a variety of backgrounds, in an area that faces many social challenges.
A key aspect of this role will be to pioneer and develop forms of digital evangelism, utilising social media platforms to share the Gospel with young people and young adults in central Blackpool, and engage them in the life of St John’s.
This post is initially funded for 2 years. There is a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to be a Christian and a member of a church, which is part of the Evangelical Alliance, Churches Together in Britain and Ireland, or Churches Together in England (Equality Act 2010).
