Youth Team Leader | Sunnyside Church

We are looking for someone to lead our ministry and outreach amongst 11-18s both in the church and the local community. The post involves working with our church youth to support and enable them to they grow in their faith so that they may be disciples of Jesus within the church and in their daily lives. The role also involves building relationships with youth in our local community, using our links with schools and other organisations, including Refract (a network of church-based youth workers in Berkhamsted). The Youth Team Leader oversees, co-ordinates and enables the church's ministry among young people, working with the vicar, staff team and members of the church to deliver our youth work. The Youth Team Leader works with the Parish Safeguarding Officer to ensure the implementation of the relevant safeguarding policies in all aspects of our youth work.

This role is subject to an enhanced disclosure check from the DBS through the Diocese of St Albans.

We currently have three Sunday services with a variety of worship styles, a midweek morning service and a monthly Messy Church.
