To enable that investment we need to further grow our National events team. This is an exciting role to enable us to more fully support and grow the provision at United and Luminosity.

The successful candidate will be pro-active, positive, and have the right skills and experience. They will be an excellent organiser and communicator, able to lead, motivate and develop others.

The New Wine National Events Team exists to support New Wine delegates, volunteers and staff with the initial planning, coordination and delivery of all New Wine events held throughout the year, including our two week ‘United’ event and ‘Luminosity’, our new youth focused event. We aspire to the highest level of support, service and teamwork, working closely together.

You will be working closely with the Head of National Events to manage and deliver excellent service and support. You will oversee the process for recruiting, engaging and retaining volunteers and be responsible for ensuring customer service processes are adhered to and developed. You will be the liaison point for volunteer hosts, coordinating and managing the calendar of events. You will arrange and host appropriate event planning meetings with the wider stakeholders to ensure that all responsibilities are tracked completed.

This is an exciting time to join our organisation as we continue to grow and invest in Kingdom work. New Wine has been sharing our experience of the Spirit’s work since 1981. We’re now celebrating our 30th summer ‘United’ conference (at a brand-new venue in Peterborough from 2019) and launching Luminosity – an improved youth provision. We are also at the brink of implementing our new 5yr strategic plan, part of which is to further resource and support the vision of our key ‘United’ summer conference.
