Bookkeeper (Maternity Cover) | South West London Vineyard

We are looking for someone to cover the maternity leave of our Bookkeeper, whether you have experience working with financial information and are keen to learn the role, or a specific bookkeeping qualification.
We are flexible on the form of this role and it could be that the part time, 14 hour/ week Bookkeeping role is a good fit for you. Alternatively, this role could take the form of an up to full time (14-35 hours/ week) Bookkeeper & Administrator role, which we've listed as a separate job.
For us, it is key that we find someone who understands our values as a church, who takes initiative, is a keen learner, has good communication skills and has a proven record in dealing with confidential information. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for planning and delivering an efficient and compliant bookkeeping service to the Senior Leaders and Trustees, with responsibilities that include bookkeeping, financial reporting, compliance reporting, HR reporting and communicating with church members on giving related issues.
