Parish Administrator | Parish of St Mary Magdalene with St Leonard, Newark on Trent PCC
We are seeking to appoint an administrator for our growing churches in Newark. As a parish we aim to welcome new people into the worshipping life of the church, nurture faith and engage with the local community, sharing God’s love with the town. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled person to join our team with responsibility for administration and communication for the parish. The candidate must be supportive of the distinctive Christian ethos and vision of the churches and have relevant experience of administrative work. If you are passionate about serving people, communicating clearly, and giving a warm welcome, you could be just the person we are looking for.

Guidelines for submitting publicity:
As part of the application process we would like you to submit a piece of publicity for an imaginary event taking place in church. We would like you to specifically use canva to create a social media post and share a link to your design with us. This is to help us assess your ability to work with a programme you may not have worked with before and your ability to design publicity for good communication. These will be important parts of the job.
Details of the imaginary event: Title - Create Hope, event - an event with arts and crafts and music exploring the theme of hope, suitable for families with young children. Time - 10-12:30, Saturday 2nd November. Location - St Mary Magdalene Church.
