Youth & Young Adults Leader vacancy at St Martin's Church, Liskeard

St Martin’s Liskeard
St Martin’s Church, Liskeard is the Church of England parish church in Liskeard, South-East Cornwall. It is an evangelical church that is growing. It has just been awarded funding from the Church Commissioners and Truro Diocese to grow into a resourcing church through a project named "Transforming Mission". As such it will be recruiting key leaders to help it grow from an average weekly attendance of about 175 people to 600 in six years. Our aim is to go from the current team of four staff: two clergy, a part time parish administrator and a part-time families' worker, to six full-time staff and a part-time Parish Administrator within the next twelve months. The church itself is the second largest parish church in Cornwall, with a capacity of about 500. In 2018 we carried out a major reordering of the church, removing most of the pews, installing underfloor heating, new flooring, a kitchen, creche area, second toilet and a top-quality AV system with Wi-Fi throughout the building.
