Priest in Charge, Milford-on-Sea | Diocese of Winchester

Priest in Charge in the stunning coastal parish of Milford-on-Sea on the edge of the New Forest, in the Lyndhurst deanery.

All Saints’ Milford-on-Sea and St Mary’s Everton seek a Christ-centred, Spirit-led, Bible-based and mission-focussed leader who can listen, discern and compassionately inspire change for the next stage of our journey. We are looking for an experienced, empathetic and socially confident leader.

With so many opportunities to make Jesus known in our Parish we are looking for someone who can help us reach out to our community in imaginative and creative ways and to build on our existing strengths and readiness for change.

We can offer a lovely family home, near the outstanding CE primary school, in a beautiful thriving village. Plenty of challenges due to the many opportunities that the future offers and two churches filled with loving people, who desire to work collaboratively and support you prayerfully and practically.

If God is calling you to take up the challenge and serve Him here please contact: The Ven Dr Peter Rouch, Archdeacon of Bournemouth on 01962 710960

Closing date: 19 November 2019 at 12 noon
Interviews: 9-10 December 2019

Diocese of Winchester
At the heart of our life here is the desire to be always Living the Mission of Jesus. We are engaged in a strategic process to deliver a mission-shaped Diocese, in which parochial, pastoral and new forms of pioneering and radical ministry all flourish. Infused with God’s missionary Spirit we want three character traits to be clearly visible in how we live:  Passionate personal spirituality;  Pioneering faith communities;  Prophetic global citizens. The Diocese of Winchester is an exciting place to be right now. With a grant of £4.3m from the Strategic Development Fund, we are investing in missional projects across the diocese which are aimed at strategic growth for the common good. We pray that, if God is calling you to join us in his mission here, he will reveal this to you clearly as you consider this post.
