Being Witnesses Manager | Diocese of Blackburn

It’s an exciting time to join the Diocese of Blackburn with the implementation of Vision 2026. Our Vision has the ambition to see healthy churches transforming communities across Lancashire, by Making Disciples, Being Witnesses, Growing Leaders and prioritising work amongst children, young people and schools. As part of our Vision we are seeking to recruit a vital role in the Being Witnesses Manager. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right individual to help shape and deliver one of the key Vision strands ‘Being Witnesses to Jesus Christ’.

You will be joining a supportive and enthusiastic team focused on sharing the gospel, showing God’s love through meeting human need and growing God’s kingdom by planting new churches and renewing existing congregations.

The Being Witnesses Manager will establish the diocese to deliver and leverage on the three strands of the Being Witnesses team brief. The aims and objectives of the brief are as follows;
1. Sharing the Gospel of salvation with confidence
2. Meeting human need: actions as well as words
3. New Local Congregations and Strategic Church Plants
