Bow Church looks forward to welcoming a new Incumbent to lead us into our next season of mission and ministry. We hope to find someone who seeks God’s heart and is imaginative and brave enough to try new things! We see cultivating new growth alongside nurturing discipleship within our community as the central task of our new incumbent.   

We start from rich foundations in a building that has been a visible place of worship for over 700 years. We’re passionate to see God use those foundations to move in East London today, as we seek to grow new life in him throughout our beloved parish and community. 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

• Will lead, shepherd and inspire us in deepening our relationship with God
• Can speak easily about faith to people inside and outside the church
• Is a good bible teacher who loves spending time in the scriptures and enjoys making them come alive publicly with relevance for our current culture
• Can unite us in our diversity and is comfortable operating across and blending different worship styles
• Has a heart for reaching those not represented in our church family especially children and families
• Is excited to live and minister in this fast-changing part of East London
• Has the skills and vision to release the ministries, leadership, and gifts of church members
• Has great organisational skills and the experience to inspire, manage, and develop our staff team
• Will be active in exploring growth into a second site and maybe more!
