One Church is a thriving Assemblies of God church based in Leicester, gathering across five 'sites' in Leicester and Loughborough. We are looking for a Children’s Pastor who can bring vision, leadership, care and passion to everything we do with 0–11‑year‑olds and their families.
There are around 200 0-11s who are 'part' of One Church, and we have a weekly reach through our groups and clubs of around 400-450 children and families. This role is a brilliant opportunity, as you will have the privilege of serving alongside a dedicated team of staff, volunteers and families to change many young lives for Jesus.
What the role looks like?
- Leading our children and families! Providing inspirational oversight for Sunday groups, midweek clubs, holiday events and outreach across all of One Church. Loving and leading kids and families wherever you go.
- Visionary and spiritual leadership! Hearing from God and doing what He says, which will enable the cultivation of a culture of worship, prayer, encounter and biblical teaching for our children and families.
- Loving and releasing others! Helping with the recruiting, training, mentoring and releasing of volunteers and leaders.
- Being part of ministry on the ground! Being ready to engage with One Church Kids on every level; on Sundays in our sites, midweek through our discipleship group and outreach groups, and with events and holiday clubs throughout the year.
- Keeping every person growing and safe! Partnering with families to help every child grow into who God has created them to be. Playing your part in caring for children excellently, with robust safeguarding and pastoral care.
- Overseeing the ministry, and telling the world about Jesus! Using your skills, resources and time to oversee our ministry with children and families, sharing the Good News of Jesus with them and the world.

This role has an Occupational Requirement, in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, for the post-holder to be a practising Christian. You must also be able to wholeheartedly affirm and model One Church’s culture, practice and doctrine.
