The Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham is seeking to appoint a full time Digital Communications & Engagement Manager to work alongside the Director to develop and deliver a social media strategy to increase engagement in support of the Diocesan vision of growing disciples - wider, younger, deeper.
A strong understanding/empathy with the aims, ethos and beliefs of the Church of England is desirable as the postholder will be required to promote the Christian faith in all external facing communications.
Based in Southwell, the successful candidate will plan and manage all content and communications, on and offline, and assist with the development and delivery of a social media engagement strategy to support the diocesan vision. The postholder will create channel specific content for YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to attract and engage more younger followers with faith stories.
The nature of the post will require a degree of mobility and flexibility, with work undertaken in locations around the Diocese and some meetings or training events taking place during evenings and weekends.
