About the role:
This key position within the staff team will deliver the practical blend of people, resources and strategy to enable our facilities and events for the benefit of the church’s mission, in compliance with law and regulations.
Your role will oversee the equipment, training and support for event and service leads to get the right people into place and to build the capacity and culture that enables our community to focus on our mission. The role involves close co-operation with other team members responsible for communications, financial oversight and other operational roles.
We are big on team and seek a joyful collaboration with all serving within the church. To be successful in this role, you will gain a technical and thorough understanding of the assets and systems that the church needs to use, and be able to recruit and train a wide variety of lay people to use them and deliver ministry confidently and in a thriving team atmosphere.
Hours of work are flexible to respond appropriately to appointments with suppliers and to shape around events (which includes Sundays) and regular staff commitments.

Riverside is a large & vibrant church made up of people from a diversity of ages, backgrounds and experiences. We have one thing in common - our discovery of God’s amazing love for us. We have a tradition as an independent charismatic evangelical church, and simply want to help people become followers of Jesus and grow as his followers.
This is an exciting time as the church. Up until Coronavirus, there were three main Sunday congregations. During the pandemic, this shape has changed and we are currently reshaping to the new realities of post- lockdown and embracing a bold new direction and opportunities.
We are a member of the Evangelical Alliance. Our website is www.riverside-church.org.uk.
