The Vineyard Community Centre

Richmond-on Thames, Surrey

Our mission is to those in need who are homeless, hungry or socially disadvantaged across the borough of Richmond-on-Thames. We offer help in crisis and hope for life.

Despite its apparent affluence there is deprivation and social exclusion in Richmond for which the Vineyard Community Centre, supported by local businesses and churches and with the encouragement of statutory agencies was set up to address when we opened in March 2012.

The Vineyard operates a Morning Drop-in for those who are in personal crisis, a Foodbank, a Community Cafe for those who are socially excluded, a Charity shop and a new pathway for empowerment called 'Roots' together with a small social enterprise called ‘Works of Love’. Roots and Works of Love provide pathways for employment skills training.
