Description of Job
Ipswich Vineyard is looking for a Senior Pastor who will inspire, envision and lead the church onto the next chapter. We are looking for previous ministry experience, preferably within the Vineyard Movement and someone who identifies with “extending the kingdom, transforming lives and making a difference”.
Having the heart of a lion, infused by the Holy Spirit and a clear call from God will go a long way in helping the church transition to the next stage. We are looking for someone to nurture people in their walk with Jesus, who takes a risk with the Holy Spirit and the prophetic and who loves the Scriptures. Teaching the Bible and preaching are central to this role, as is communication and collaboration with the ability to recruit, train and inspire leaders. To serve the local community has always been at the centre of the church.
Ipswich Vineyard had its first meetings at a coffee shop in the middle of town with a small team supporting the church plant in 2012. Over the years, we have met in various venues across town. The church has a committed core of members and leaders and an experienced team of Trustees who have supported one another, particularly at this time of the Pandemic. IV has strong working relationships with other Churches in Ipswich and in the Vineyard Area of East Anglia.
Please submit a covering letter and CV for the attention of the Senior Pastor, Paul Finn
Closing Date: 31st January 2022.
