St John's Church, Hildenborough

Hildenborough, Kent

St John's is an Anglican Parish Church in the village of Hildenborough. We have two services on a Sunday, one at 9:15am (contemporary) with breakfast served from 8:45. Lots of families come to this dynamic, informal service. This service is when the Kids Ministry happens and is more charismatic in nature. Kids Church is currently made up of; Mini Kids (preschoolers), Kids Church (Year R - Y5) and Junior Youth (Y6 and 7). We have a preschooler group in the centre, every Monday afternoon called Bright Sparks. Who Let the Dads Out runs on the first Saturday of the month. We also host at least four wider community gathering 'feeder' events throughout the year.

St John's is led by Rev Tim Saiet, a charismatic, evangelical who trained with Mark Melluish at St Paul's Ealing during his curacy. Tim has been in post for 8 years and has led significant change with the church moving towards renewal. We have a Leadership Team of six, including two wardens.
