Rector of St John the Evangelist, Hinckley
The Patron is seeking to appoint a Rector to the Parish of St John the Evangelist, Hinckley.
A dynamic, evangelical, charismatic church that is called to live out its faith through prayer,
mission, and discipleship. Our desire is to grow as disciples, and both welcome and serve our
community, through the action of our mission, and the encouragement of personally sharing our
To this end, we seek a person who:
- Is a spiritually mature leader who loves Jesus and wants others to come to
- Is a strong and faithful Bible teacher, who will embrace and engage with
the work of the Spirit, both personally and as a leader in the church.
- Works well collaboratively and pastorally and has gifts of strategic
leadership and organisation.
- Will take a lead and help shape the vision for Resourcing Church whilst
continuing to develop and expand a vision for mission.
- Be a part of continuing to develop and expand a vision for growth and
change within the Diocese, and therefore to lead the church as it becomes
part of a Minster Community
