We are looking for a candidate with strong people and project management skills to coordinate high quality events for Fusion. This individual will assist in the delivery of both internal and external events throughout the year to engage our team, donors and users with the mission of Fusion. This individual will have a passion for facilitating environments where people feel welcome and able to connect with God. All events delivered support our mission to see students find hope in Jesus and home in the local church.

Fusion is a student mission movement. Fusion's growth is fuelled by many kingdom minded individuals being invited to partner and participate in this vision. Partner raising is a key part of this role, the successful candidate will, therefore, cover 50% of their salary through a team of partners who give financially to Fusion.

Job purpose: This individual will be responsible for supporting Fusion in the delivery of internal and external events throughout the year to engage our team, donors and users with the mission of Fusion.

Additional Information:
3-5 days a week
£21,000-£25,000 depending on experience

This role is a hybrid role that will require regular remote working as well as physical attendance at events and the Fusion office in Loughborough. It is preferable that the candidate would be located in the East Midlands but we will consider all applicants with a willingness to travel.

Areas of responsibility:
1. Administration of internal events
- Administrative support for team away days
- Establishing and agreeing upon important parameters, such as budgets and timeframes
- Researching appropriate venues for the event in question
- Completing relevant paperwork to secure booking
2. Administration of external events
- Contribute to marketing strategy for events and monitor sales
- Support leadership team in the delivery of successful events through effective administration and process.
- Ensure feedback is gathered from delegates and team members post event
- Discuss the event budget with management and staff
- Research venues and vendors that fit within budget
- Negotiate contracts with vendors
- Oversee each part of the event to ensure it runs smoothly
3. Communicating with stakeholders
- Negotiating with suppliers
- Communicating schedule with speakers and processing expenses claims
- Delivering excellent customer service
4. Ensuring compliance
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
- Completing risk assessments
- Responsible for tracking and updating insurances (i.e. public liability)
- Encourage good practice by promoting and championing safeguarding policy and procedures.
- Creating a safe environment for people to encounter God and receive ministry
5. Support Raising
- Raise 50% of salary through MPD (Ministry Partnership Development)
- Communicate regularly with supporters including prayer points
- Extend ongoing invitations to new people to join your team
- Allocate 10% of time to maintaining partner support

- Awareness of risk assessments and risk management process

- Involvement in youth or student ministry
- Experience working on projects, particularly events
- Project management qualification
- A valid full driving licence
- Digital communication skills
- Experience of governance and risk management
- Experience fundraising
