Description of Job
Are you looking to create a positive impact for the gospel? We are looking for a new Vicar to lead our team and help us grow our mission to help people in Bristol discover fulfilment in life through following Jesus.

We are hoping to find someone prayerful, with an infectious passion for Jesus, who takes an active interest in others and longs to see them flourish and thrive in their giftings and leadership. The new vicar will be a people person who has a desire to lead initiatives that deeply impact the community around them and is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved. We want someone who is prayerfully attentive to God's will, lives under the
authority of scripture and is confident in sharing their faith with others.

As we move forward, the new Vicar will play a key role in leading our passionate evangelical church into God’s plans and purposes for us. Together, we will work towards seeing humanity reconciled and creation restored in Bristol and beyond. If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge and help us continue to grow and thrive as followers of Jesus, we would love to hear from you.

Central (St Philip and St Jacob with Emmanuel), Bristol

Bristol

Central is a truly unique church in the city of Bristol. Our members gather from across the city and beyond at St Philip and St Jacob church, which is one of the oldest ecclesiastical meeting places in the city, which has been set apart for worship, prayer and teaching for 850 years. We have a passion to live in the fullness of life that is discovered in true discipleship to Jesus and to be transformed more into the image of God through the active work of the Holy Spirit within us. We recognise that the more we take this seriously the more we discover life.
