We are offering an exciting opportunity to take part in a year of leadership development, discipleship and serving in the local church.
The Leadership Development Year is designed for those between the ages of 18 - 25 who have a desire to set aside time to serve God, whilst discovering the gifts and skills God has given you. You’ll receive training in leadership and theology and get stuck in practically within a church context to enable you to grow and develop. It’s a year to equip you for what you are being called to next whether that's within or beyond the context of church.
We are a planting network of churches both in Lincoln & Grimsby and so you can choose one of our churches to serve at and then join together with LDY Apprentices across the churches for training in Leadership and Theology.

We are a vibrant and growing network of Anglican churches in the Diocese of Lincoln. We exist so that people will encounter the LOVE of God, learn to LIVE more like Jesus, and GO in the power of the Spirit to see lives and communities transformed.
Our story so far is one of God’s faithfulness. After dwindling to just a handful of faithful parishioners in 2014, St Swithin’s was identified by the Diocese as a potential location for a city-centre resourcing church and at the invitation of the Bishop of Lincoln, a team from Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) in London were invited to plant into St Swithin’s.
Since then we have seen significant growth and have been given the mandate to grow new worshipping communities and contribute to the transformation of our urban centres in the diocese. As part of this we have sent a planting team to relaunch St Mark’s, Grimsby which is now a growing worshipping community and have partnered with St Faith’s Church, Lincoln a neighbouring parish to work with the community there.
We continue to work with one another and as part of this we are offering the opportunity to take part in a Leadership Development Year at one of these churches, while joining together for training and development.
