The New Wine Training Centre in Bristol operate from Woodlands Church, a large and vibrant city-centre church seeking to ‘continually reproduce the life of Jesus.’ We work in partnership with our Woodlands Group of Churches, as well as other local churches across the area; each one offering great internship placements for the Discipleship Year.
Our theological teaching is delivered on a Tuesday through the Müller Trust Foundation. There will be extra sessions alongside this, as a chance to dig deeper and grow in your own personal discipleship.
Internships are offered at a number of local churches across Bristol. These will be in a variety of areas of church ministry that may include: youth work, student ministry, kids work, family outreach, social action, worship and media. £1000 course fees, payable at the beginning of the course. Part or all of these fees may be covered by the placement church.
Discipleship Year Interns are expected to find their own accommodation local to their placement church. However, those choosing to place themselves in Woodlands gives the opportunity to live in community housing if one chooses to, community housing availability is not guaranteed.
New Wine Discipleship Year
