Our inner cities and outer estates are full of life, vibrancy, colour and immediacy, and working in urban communities is a great privilege, as well as hugely challenging. For many in these neighbourhoods, life, education, employment and family has not quite worked out as they hoped.

With oversight from Andy Jolley, we seek to support, envision and equip urban leaders and disciples, enabling them to make a sustained impact for the Kingdom.

We offer support through relationship by gathering together like-minded people – who know and understand each other’s situations – to share stories and best practice, to encourage and pray for each other, and offer support that extends beyond the time of meeting into everyday life and ministry.

Our annual Urban Forum (see Events) gathers leaders involved in urban ministry for an invaluable time of networking, sharing, prayer and teaching from inspiring and experienced practitioners.

At United in the summer, Impact is our urban venue, providing a worshipping environment appropriate for people living in urban communities across the nation. We offer fast-moving, down-to-earth, creative and participatory celebrations, expressing something of the vibrant cultures represented.
