‘For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened’ (Matthew 7:8).

Accessible Church ministry

Our mission is to enable people with additional needs (physical disability, mental health, illness) to participate as much as possible within their local church and at each New Wine event. We want individuals and families to feel welcome and have the opportunity to grow in the gifts that God has given them.

Our Accessible Church 1 day conference is on Saturday 10 March in Leicester. Pray that all those attending would be equipped and empowered to make their churches more accessible and inclusive for children, youth and adults with additional needs.

Two of the additional needs teams at United 18 — Access (supporting adults with additional needs) and Breathe (supporting parents of individuals with additional needs) — need more volunteers to run successfully. Pray that people with a heart for this ministry would volunteer for these teams. How about you or someone you know?

Kids and families ministry

Children are often more open to the things of God than adults — they accept God’s power more freely and expect him to act. We have a passion to see God move through the lives of children and their families.

Where Adventure Beings is a Riding Lights theatre show that’s touring around churches all over the UK this month. Pray that the parents, carers and teenagers who attend would be equipped and encouraged as they seek to live out faith in the family.

Pray for your own family - that in all the busyness of life you’d be able to share times of prayer, stories from the Bible and see God at work in your everyday lives. If you’re looking for practical ideas and wisdom from others you’ll find these in our new book HomeTime.

International partnerships

We want to see local churches changing nations. With oversight from Mark Aldridge, we have recruited and trained a team of church leaders from across the New Wine family to help us respond to the many requests for training and partnership from our global Church.

We are starting to develop a small work in Italy linking several churches from Milan in the north to Naples in the south. Mark will be in Umbria during March as part of this. Pray that the Holy Spirit will bring church leaders together in genuine unity and co-operation in the Kingdom.

Who’s God calling you to partner with? Make sure you keep up to date with your church’s mission partners. They need your support and your faith will grow as you hear of the exciting things God is doing around the world.

We would love to hear your stories of God at work in and through you and your church family. Email us at stories@new-wine.org
