Teams 2017

Want to serve on team?

We have an army of people that love helping to make the event happen. Serving as a volunteer on one of our teams is an amazing way to grow spiritually and to learn new skills. You'll also meet lots of new people and get back even more than you give out.

Volunteering gives you a free ticket and free meals all week.

How to apply

1. Book your place to come to United this year.

2. During the booking process, you can click the 'Apply For Team' button.

3. At the end of your booking process you can then complete the team application form via your booking summary page or your account page.

Next steps

Your application will be reviewed by your team leader once both references have been returned. The team leader will let you know if you've been successful. Please note that team places are not guaranteed as volunteers are recruited based on experience and ability.

DBS check

Some teams require you to undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). If this is a requirement for the team you have applied for, you will receive instructions from us by email. Download the list of offences which will never be filtered from a criminal record check.

Child protection

Please read our safeguarding policy, regarding the welfare of children and young people at New Wine events. During your application, you will be asked to confirm that you've understood these terms and that you will adhere to them while volunteering with us.

When to arrive on site

All team members must arrive on site the day before the week begins (Friday for Week 1, Saturday for Week 2). All details will be provided by your team leaders, and if you cannot arrive early you must let them know as soon as possible, as this may affect your team application.
