We are now recruiting for a next generations trainee, this is a three-year employment, where you can grow in Children, Families and Youth Ministry. We offer training, mentoring and serving opportunities in the areas of leadership, pastoral care, and organisational skills.

It is not expected that from day one the Trainee will be able to do all the following but rather to grow within the role for the first 18 months and for the later 18 months to be independently leading within these ministry areas.

The initial areas of focus will be Children and adding in new areas of growth.

The main areas of focus but not limited to will be:

Children: working with schools and social events to engage with unchurched families. Lead our kids life group and Sunday sessions.

Families: get involved with our little church group during the week.

Youth: Engage with school work and socials. Be part of the youth team working with younger youth.

What we offer

During the three years St PB will invest in this role giving training opportunities through organisations such as New Wine, Guildford Diocese, Cliff College, and Parenting for Faith.

This role is a full-time role of 40 hours per week, with a salary between £18-21K.
