Pioneer Curate

Seeking a class of 2024 Pioneer Curate to join us at a truly exciting time as we follow God's clear calling to reach out into the local community. It's a peach of a learning opportunity for an outward looking evangelist who is passionate about taking the gospel to the margins. Your role will include opportunities for: pioneer mission & evangelism in multiple contexts, particularly in Merstham's council estate, helping plant a new stand-alone congregation in the community cafe or school, starting up new services to manage the numerical growth we are already experiencing in the Merstham Team... and still having plenty of opportunity to gain conventional curacy experience in Sunday and pastoral services in both a traditional church and open evangelical contexts. Added in to all that we have just been awarded 5 years of strategic development funding from the C of E to further resource this project.
