The leadership team is looking to grow the scope of the youth ministry at St Mary's Cogges, Witney, Oxfordshire and is advertising a new post for a youth worker to come and work alongside our two Youth Directors. The post is full-time (40/hrs a week) but we would consider someone who can work part time (20/hrs a week).
Cogges Church has a well-established youth ministry with a dedicated team of active and prayerful volunteers. The youth ministry is prioritised by the church staff, well-funded with a generous budget and valued by church members and parents. It is an ideal situation for anyone wanting to invest in young lives. We are looking for someone who has some experience with young people and a growing knowledge of the Bible, but it is not a requirement that this person be formally trained for youth ministry. There is also ample scope to pursue more training as well as being developed into the role by our Youth Directors.
