This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, committed and experienced Youth and Kids Pastor who is excited by the idea of developing an already growing and vibrant kids and youth ministry at Life Vineyard Church and reaching out into the wider community.
We believe children and young people’s engagement with church should be fun, safe and a great way to make friends whilst encountering Jesus and growing in their faith.
So many young people are struggling with the challenges of life and we are looking for a kids and youth pastor who is determined to reach out into the lives of young people so that they encounter the love and power of Jesus. We would love the successful candidate to creatively explore and plan for initiatives and events that gather young people who currently are not engaged with church.
The Kids and Youth Pastor will work with Senior Pastor Nicola Bass to develop curriculum for Sunday kids and youth groups, family devotional resources and events that build community and complement the curriculum.
We are also gathering a significant number of wonderful young people with additional needs and the successful candidate will work to develop further our SEND provision across the church.
As this is a full time role there may be other responsibilities include in the successful candidates role.

Life Vineyard Church was planted in 2006 with 4 adults and 3 children. Over the last 18 years the church has grown and currently there are around 450 adults and children connected to LVC. In the last two years our Sunday attendance has grown by 40% and we often see over 200 people attending our Sunday morning services.
Life Vineyard Church is a multi-site church in the North East of England. We currently have two sites LVC Wallsend and LVC Marley Hill. In 2019 we planted Darlington Vineyard and in September 2024 we will be planting Beacon Vineyard South Tyneside. We have a vision to plant mores sites and churches in the years to come.
Our children and youth ministries are thriving with around 190 children and youth connected to LVC and we often have well over 70 attending each Sunday. We also run a fantastic youth services once a month called The Hub. We see around 30-40 11-17’s attending this event from LVC and other Vineyard churches.
As a church we run multiple outward focussed ministries called Life Projects and in the last 12 months we have had 19,000 community connections.
