St Barnabas is a vibrant and diverse church in Kensington, West London. We are passionate about welcoming all in Jesus’ name, growing together as his disciples and stepping out in God’s mission to all nations.

Our church community is marked by its cultural and social diversity, which we see as a mark of God’s Kingdom and a starting point for creative mission. In recent years, a particular mission focus has developed on reaching French speakers (French Connect), using music and the arts in outreach (Barnabas Music Academy), and connecting with the local neighbourhood through family outreach (Soft Play, Family Fun Days). We have strong ties with St Barnabas and St Philip’s primary school (SBSP) and Marmalade Nursery.

Within this context, we are looking for a dynamic leader to oversee the development of our families ministry, with a particular focus on children 0-12 years old. This role is all about outreach, mission and discipleship of children and their families both within the church and in the community. You will play a vital role in the strategic growth and development of this area of ministry, discipling and growing a passionate generation of young Christians in West London.

This role would be part time for 21-28 hours per week with a pro rata salary of £27,000-£30,000 dependent upon experience. Church housing may be available.
