Description of Job

Children’s, Youth and Families Pastors

One full time role, one part time role

Accomodation or an allowance can be provided

To lead St Mary’s Kids, which compromises our children’s work (0-10yrs) and youth work (10-18yrs)

We recognise that the needs of a toddler and a 15-year-old are very different, so we’re looking for two roles. One role with overall responsibility for the Children’s and Youth Work and one role focusing upon either Children’s or Youth work.

We are looking for someone to drive spiritual and numerical growth, as we see this role as having strategic importance in the life of the church; They will empower and equip parents to raise children with a strong and lasting relationship with Jesus and to connect with the children and families in the wider Horsley community.

Why we think these roles are great:

· You get to be part of small and supportive staff team

· You get to be part of a wonderfully loving church community

· You get to work with some great children and young people, having the opportunity to really help them flourish

· You get to minister alongside a group of committed, passionate and enthusiastic lay team members

· You get to live and work in a beautiful part of the country

· There are the resources available to help you succeed in this role

· You’re only 40 minutes from London on the train, and right in the beautiful Surrey hills
