Worshipping God is the primary purpose of His people (Ephesians 1:3-14, 1 Peter 2:9). We worship God in a wide variety of ways, including personal holiness, sharing the gospel with those who don’t know Christ, trusting Him over the idols of our hearts, and through various expressions of praise.
Our Worship Team exists to help Trinity Church worship when we gather together. We want to use the creative gifts God has given the members of our church to help us worship God corporately in ways that are theologically rich, culturally relevant and centred on the good news of Jesus.
The Worship Team Leader will be responsible for leading and growing the worship team at Trinity Church. We are strongly committed to team ministry and therefore expect the Team Leader not just to use their own gifts to lead the church in worship but to recruit, train, develop and empower others to serve alongside them.
The successful candidate will be a mature Christian whose life meets the qualifications of a deacon laid out in 1 Timothy 3:8-13. They must possess the necessary musical ability and leadership skills to perform the role, being a confident instrumentalist with good proficiency. There must also be full alignment with the vision and values of Trinity Church. Prior experience in a similar role is desirable but continued training and development will be provided by our staff, eldership and partner organisations to further equip the successful candidate.

Trinity Church Manchester
Trinity Church is a growing FIEC church in Greater Manchester. Planted in 2020, the church has grown to approximately 130 adults and 40 kids, celebrating several baptisms and seeing multiple ministries launched to reach and serve the surrounding areas. The church is committed to church planting across Greater Manchester, is one of the founding members of the Northern Gospel Project, and has links with City to City Europe. Our 5-year goals are:
1) Fill the Room
Grow to 300+ adults attending the church, with 10% of our growth coming through new conversions to faith.
2) Open the Doors
We want to lease or own a venue which we can use throughout the week for an expanded portfolio of ministries.
3) Love our Neighbours
We want to expand our ministry offering, launching new mid-week ministries that connect with and serve the communities of North Manchester.
4) Invest in the Future
We want to grow our investment in the next generation year-on-year. This will include prioritising the development of our families ministry and our internship programme. We want to train and send out a minimum of 10 interns across the next 5 years.
5) Plant New Churches
We want to plant a new church in Greater Manchester to help reach new people with the gospel. We also want to partner with 2 others church plants, helping to resource 1 in the UK and 1 in continental Europe.
