River College is a one-year programme for 18-30 year olds who want to go deeper in their discipleship, grow in their leadership, and gain first hand experience of ministry at a fast-growing HTB church plant.

At River College we want to help release life-changing leadership in our students. Over our one-year course, through a mixture of classroom teaching in theology and Biblical studies, training in leadership, mentoring from our senior staff team, and practical experience on one of our internship streams, River College students will discover and develop their God-given gifts, ready to transform our church, our town, our nation, and beyond.
Students will also benefit from world-class teaching via HTB LDY, have opportunities to train and serve as baristas at River Coffee, and receive free books and team tickets to HTB Focus (our annual church holiday). River College is completely free because we are passionate about investing in young Christian leaders. In 2022-23, we had an amazing cohort of 8 interns, and we hope to welcome a similar sized cohort in 2023-24 who will be your peers for the year as you journey together.

River Church Ipswich
River Church is an HTB Resource Church plant in the centre of Ipswich, Suffolk, with a dream to see Ipswich overflowing with life. We are located in the newly regenerated Waterfront area of Ipswich, a growing town of 180,000 people, close to the up-and-coming University of Suffolk. After 15 months, River Church has seen more than 45 people come to faith in Jesus, and grown to more than 180 people (mainly aged under 35), with three Sunday services. We have exciting plans for growth, leadership development, social transformation (through Love Your Neighbour), and further church plants in the pipeline, so now is the perfect time to join the River Church adventure!
River Church is a charismatic evangelical Anglican church, supported by the Church Commissioners' SDF funding, and part of the C of E Suffolk's Inspiring Ipswich church-planting project.
